Lillies of the Field was created after a long illness.  I didn't start out with anything in mind.  I just put color on my paper and looked to see what it suggested and one lilly after another  immerged.  I felt victorious when I finished.  I used watercolor and gouache.  This picture is matted in white with a light tan frame.
