This was a beautiful poppy year. The mountains looked like they were on fire from the distance. My husband and I went for a drive up Dry Creek Rd. near Three Rivers, CA.  It looked like God had poured paint on the tops of the mountains.  They were also along the roadside. This painting proved to be a challenge because of all the dry branches in the Sycamore trees. Currently it is matted in white.
